Speaker 1 (00:05):
Welcome to the legal learning podcast. I’m your host Jolene. And with the legal learning center, I help prospective Flo students save time, money, and stress on their legal journey. It’s just a catch up episode to let you guys know what’s going on with the legal learning center, what you can expect in 2022, because there are going to be a lot of changes. All right. So let’s go through the list of what the legal learning center offers and what’s being changed. Number one, the legal learning podcast, right? This is a weekly show with guests pretty much every week to help guide you through everything I wish I had known before I went to Los school in early 20, 22, we are going to take a hiatus, to be honest. There’s just a lot of balls in the air right now, too much juggling going on. So I’m going to take a step down, take a little break and we will let you know when we’re back.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Number two, the prelaw survival guide is out. That is the book to help you save time, money, and stress. It’s the advice of over 40 experts from all over the place, financial experts, lawyers, everything you can imagine to help make your legal journey easier. It’s available on Kindle and in paperback right now, it’s only available on Amazon, but check your local bookstore soon. Number three, my pre-law journal. This is a fill in the blank journal for your application process. So just something to help you stay on track. It’s something where you can just fill in. I’m going to take my LSAT on this day. So I need to register by this day and my score will come out on that day and then that kind of thing. But for the entire application process, it’s just a quick cheat sheet to keep you on track that has been available for quite some time.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Although not on Amazon, just on legal learning center.com, but stay tuned because in the coming months it will be on Amazon. Number four, financially free aspiring attorneys. This is the course that helps you really see things in a whole new way so that you can move things around within your schedule and create new opportunities, perhaps more opportunity to intern or to, and make more money or even just how to make more money. This also includes things like how to maximize your scholarship, potential, how to get better rates on your loans, how to avoid those loans as much as possible, everything financial, but again, that is really intertwined with reducing your stress and saving you time. So that is available all the time now. So before it was only available a few times a year and I would get emails from you guys, Hey, when’s the next time it’s gonna be available?
Speaker 1 (03:04):
And I just felt so bad because it was only available a couple of times a year. So one just to make my life easier. But two, just to make sure you guys have the advice that you want and need when you want and need it, it’s going to be available at all times. So again, you can always just go back to legal learning center.com and you’ll get the link to the course. But the direct link is legal learning center.com/financially hyphen free. And then number five, as always the legal learning center was founded on one-on-one consult thing. So if you ever need some personalized advice, if you want someone to really bounce ideas off of I’m here for you, there’s always a 30 minute consult for free again, go to legal learning center.com for that link, you have 30 minutes to ask all your questions and hopefully get all the answers you need.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
But if we need to spend more time together, we can talk about what that would look like. You can also use part of that 30 minutes to ask about financially free aspiring attorneys and whether it’s the right course for you. I certainly do not want anyone to ever purchase it. If they don’t feel it’s right for them. Now, if you ever want to reach out to me in a more or informal way, I am all over social media. I have a Facebook group, the pre-law advisory group. You are all welcome to join. I think right now we have about 2000 members and there’s regular posts about how to afford law school or how to stress less or all the different things, all the different programs that are out they’re the two year programs, the four year programs, the non ABA approved programs, all that kind of stuff is there.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
You’ll get my 2 cents on each of these articles. There’s a community there. People share their favorite LSAT tutors and things like that. A lot of discounts and deals are in the group as well. And you’re also welcome to become a legal learning member. Again, if you go to legal learning center.com/money, you’ll get three free money saving strategies and become a legal learning member. Legal learning members are notified of advanced sales discounts, given special coupons, all kinds of stuff. Now, even though we’re going to be on a hiatus, I would greatly appreciate a review in iTunes. If you could go over there and just let others know what you think of the show, it would be greatly appreciated. And if you do pick up a copy of the pre-law survival guide, I would love a review on that as well. I appreciate you guys. I appreciate you listening. Thanks so much for following along and I hope to speak to you soon.
